A MESSAGE TO LEAVE BEHIND

“I aim to illustrate a journey defined by countless re-starts, moving each time into a new field, building from the ground up a new strategic innovation in the sports industry. The message I want to leave behind is one of resilience and the power of strategic vision, demonstrating how cultivating strong relationships and optimizing resources can lead to remarkable achievements and lasting impact.”

THE UNIFYING POWER OF SPORT

“During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, I worked as a production assistant for Casa Italia. One day, I entered the bustling Olympic canteen and was struck by the profound impact of a global sporting event. Witnessing athletes from diverse backgrounds—each with their unique shapes, beliefs, and cultures—coming together as one deeply influenced my perception of sport. It highlighted the unifying power of sport and its ability to exemplify how humanity could live harmoniously.”

THE ROLE OF SPORT ORGANISATIONS IN SUSTAINABILITY

“Sports organisations can contribute to environmental sustainability by using their platforms to raise awareness about issues like climate change and biodiversity loss among fans, athletes, and sponsors, while also supporting eco-friendly innovation through investments in green technologies and materials for sports equipment and facilities.”

FUTURE TRENDS IN SUSTAINABILITY

“Future trends in sustainability are poised to reshape the sports industry significantly. These include the push towards carbon neutrality and net zero emissions, adoption of circular economy practices to reduce waste, and integration of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind. Sustainable venue design using eco-friendly materials, conservation of water resources, and initiatives to protect biodiversity around sports venues are also becoming prominent. Coupled with efforts in community engagement and education, these trends highlight a growing commitment to environmental stewardship across the sports sector.”
