Speakers

Our inaugural CTN summit was created out of a desire to bring everyone into the conversation when discussing how we can make positive change towards a more diverse sport leadership team. Our event focused on:

✔️ The biases we see in the sport industry, with a reference to women in leadership;

✔️ The internal and external barriers women face when aiming for leadership positions in sport and;

✔️ The importance of male allies and inclusive conversations when working to a more diverse leadership team.

Keynote Speaker

Sabrina Ibáñez

Secretary General, Fédération Equestre Internationale President, Association of Paralympic Sport Organisations

FEI Secretary General Sabrina Ibáñez is a passionate supporter of gender equality and diversity and has spoken extensively on these topics. She is also the President of the Association of Paralympic Sport Organisations (APSO), a position which she was elected to in September 2017, and then re-elected for a further four-year term in December 2021.

OUR 2023 PARTNERS

CTN is a not-for-profit organisation, and our aim is to ensure all our events are accessible by keeping entry prices low. This would not be possible without our partners, so we wish to thank them for their ongoing support in making Changing the Narrative in Sport possible.

The mission of the International Academy of Sport Science and Technology (AISTS) is to bring a positive contribution to the management of sport through post-graduate and executive education, as well as applied research, consulting and services by developing, integrating and delivering multidisciplinary knowledge from human sciences, life sciences and engineering sciences.
The AISTS is located on the campus of the University of Lausanne and EPFL in the new Synathlon building, a unique venue for sport, training and research opened in 2018.
The objectives of the AISTS Alumni Committee is to serve the alumni group by facilitating interaction between its members and strengthening the network by offering various services to its members.
Through the partnership with the AISTS Alumni Committee, we were able to offer the alumni discounted tickets to attend the event.
