Meet Gabby, a Salvadoran publicist and photographer currently living in Germany. She works at Special Olympics El Salvador as the Director of Communications.

INCLUSION MATTERS

“We need to change the mentality of those who believe people with intellectual disabilities cannot do many things on their own. Fortunately, recent years have seen growth in media inclusion, and organisations like Special Olympics help demonstrate the capabilities of athletes with intellectual disabilities.

An important moment for me is when an athlete receives a medal. You can see all the dedication behind that moment in their face and their family's."
