ISHA’S INSPIRING SPORTING MOMENT

“I was inspired and invigorated to see female riders on the grid at various track days and races. It was a powerful reminder that motorcycling is for everyone, and witnessing these women hold their own in a male-dominated sport was both empowering and affirming. Their presence showcased not only their skill and determination but also the shifting tide toward inclusivity in motorsports. It left me motivated to continue advocating for greater representation and to encourage more women to pursue their passions on two wheels.”

WOMEN IN MOTORCYCLING

“Motorcycling is a sport often associated with rugged masculinity, but I hope to change that narrative and show that femininity has its place on two wheels too. Strength, grace, and precision—often seen as hallmarks of femininity—are qualities that can elevate a rider’s skill just as much as grit and determination. Skill doesn’t depend on gender; it’s about passion, practice, and a connection with the machine. I hope to inspire the next generation of riders to break molds, embrace their true potential, and join a culture that values talent, dedication, and effort above all else.

“I never imagined that women, let alone women of Indian origin, could have a significant presence in motorsports.”

When I started creating motorcycle content on social media, I was overwhelmed by the responses from South Asian women who expressed how exciting it was to see representation in such a male-dominated and predominantly white sport. Their messages not only validated my own journey, but also highlighted the power of representation—showing how important it is for diverse voices to be seen and heard in spaces where they’ve been underrepresented. This experience has reinforced my commitment to breaking barriers and inspiring others to embrace their passions, regardless of their background or gender.”
